Once upon a time...
On a summer day in 1946, a young gentleman impishly pulled one of the pigtails of a young lady at Winnipeg Beach. This gesture would end up for both in meeting the love of their life. He was born in Canada in 1926. She was born in Poland in 1928 and immigrated to Canada only 3 years later. They married on 2 January 1949.

Leaving his home, family, girlfriend and car behind, he moved to London then. Kerry Shale described his father as a jokster who made jokes at the expenses of others and who could laugh at his own jokes. Kerry Shale searched for distance to his father, and that move would help him to discover his true self. He lived in Hampstead in London.
